LOVED! BEAUTIFUL AND QUIET! Just on the outskirts of Tulum. My family and I came across Cenote Tapir by chance on our way to another cenote. It is so peaceful and beautiful, and the owners are wonderful.Pos: Non touristy, very kind owners, clean, beautiful, family friendly, restrooms, shower, lounge chairs, kitchen area, and lighted pathways. There is a great little boat that my kids (4, 8, 10) loved to play with. You can rent the entire area for $170 pesos or so per person for the whole day!Cons: a little difficult to get to, no signs or directions, down a dirt road.**NOTE: near the beginning of the dirt road you will come across a rope strewn across it and a small sign saying cenote information" DO NOT PAY THEM MONEY to get through. Remove the rope if no one is there or tell them you are going to Cenote Tapir if they ask**"
