Our family had an emergency, where we had a bag with our passports and money stolen - and no way to get out of mexico back to Canada. The staff here were unbelievably quick, considerate and professional. While we don't recommend having to go here, if you do, you are in good hands. Thanks again for your help.

I had a bag stolen in Akumal. The consulate helped me yesterday. My bag was turned in to the police in Akumal village last night minus the cash. Everything else intact. I am very grateful to have it back.

Excelentes tiempo de atención, muy amables. El sitio abre desde las 9, tiene estacionamiento subterráneo y accesos para sillas de ruedas, por desgracia el consulado está en segunda planta pero descuida hay elevadores.

They will also accomodate you for urgent mail coming from Canada.They can easily be reached by phone, by e-mail or by visitating them at the Consulate located in Playa Del Carmen, near the Playacar gate, ADO bus terminal and Cozumel Ferry.Note that the Consulate is only open Monday to Friday for limited hours, 9h00am to 13h00pm and closed on week-ends.

***Lost Passport***I arrived in Cancun and unfortunately had my passport fall out of my pocket... I only realized when I got back to the hotel!I spoke with the concierge and they called the airport for me and insisted they didn't have it...So I gave the Canadian embassy a call and was lucky enough to speak with Sophia! She was super helpful and friendly! She called the airport to double check and low and behold they had my passport!!! She insisted I asked to speak with Aduana" or customs. After quite a sketchy relay through security guards I was at customs with my passport in hand!I can't say enough about Sophia! She helped me through an extremely stressful time! Thanks again!!"

Great agency! There was a nice man there with all the correct answer when I went in 2018 for a temporary passport, they are SO EFFICIENT!

The office is located in a 4 storey building at the back of this open mall called Plaza Paraiso. You cannot see the building well from the street. Look for the Plaza Paraiso" mall sign in blue letters. From there
