Hotel La Quinta del Sol

Our stay couldn’t have been any better. The hosts were excellent and very accommodating. The hotel itself was very pleasant. The room was very clean and spacious with our own outdoor lounging area. We really enjoyed having a kitchen and fridge to make use of. The terrace on the top floor is awesome with the available hammocks and sitting areas. You get to watch beautiful sunsets from up there and also have a view of the beach. The location was great. A surfing beach right across the street. There are nearby restaurants and shops both walking distance and a short drive away. We would definitely recommend Quinta del sol and would stay again in the future.

This hotel had exactly the chill vibe we were looking for when booking our trip to Mexico. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds very comfortable. The view to the sea is lovely, and there was always a nice breeze coming through. The outdoor lounging areas including the roof top deck were a nice surprise and we definitely made use of them! We loved that we could come and go any time with the rental surf boards from the convenient garage below. The little town has some fantastic restaurants and shops. If you love this part of Mexico but not the intensity of Sayulita or the plasticky resorts, this is for you! We would absolutely come back again!

What a fantastic place! Loved hanging out on the patio watching the waves roll in, or stealing a quick siesta on the rooftop terrace. Mary and Nico were phenomenal hosts and were quick with local information and advice, and the availability of surfboards, sunscreen and honour beverages" were a nice touch. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat!"

Perfect as always! Nico and Mary are so great and will do everything they can to make your trip an incredible vacation. There are several reasons to choose this property over others, but we particularly love the private beach club area steps from the front door, as well as the roof top area with lounge chairs giving you the best view in town! It's also great to have surf boards, boogie boards, paddle boards, and beach chairs/umbrellas available on site for daily use. The rooms have everything you need to make it feel like home including AC, fans, bottled water, and a fully stocked kitchen. Not to mention a great private outdoor dining area for each room. The housekeepers and grounds people are also incredibly welcoming and courteous. We will 100% be back for a 3rd time!

We stayed for 5 days in early May. The hotel is beautiful. It’s beautiful from top to bottom. A beautiful place to lie down and enjoy the perfect weather and sound of waves. Nico and Mary were perfect host. Tons of things to do, and a stretch of amazing restaurants just a 5 minute walk. We loved our stay, and will be returning soon.

We just spent a week at this quaint beautiful hotel. The rooms were well equipped with everything you could think of. Beautiful views of the ocean all day long and the roof top even more amazing .Barbecue, hammocks soft outdoor lighting. What more can I say. Fantastic restaurants just around the corner.Nico & Mary had thought of everything to make your stay the best.For tender toes, water shoes for the ocean would be helpful.

We absolutely loved staying here! Nico and Mary were warm and welcoming from the start, we felt at home immediately. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped and have great air circulation during the day. We only used the AC at night! The location is perfect, couldn’t be much closer to the beach and surf break, and the top patio area has an amazing view. We highly recommend staying here and will be back in the future!

No visite el lugar, sino el acceso a la playa, que se encuentra a un costado, pero los escalones no los recomiendo para gente con problemas para caminar o tercera edad. Está muy cerca del faro de corral del risco, buen lugar para castear con señuelos.

Truly an incredible place to stay with amazing views, great rooms furnished with charming touches, and two hotel hosts/managers (Mary and Nico) who go above and beyond to help their guests! I had a family member fall extremely ill while on vacation in Mexico and ended up needing to be hospitalized. I along with other members of my family immediately flew out to be with our sick relative. When we arrived in Punta Mita we were received at the hotel by Mary and Nico. They were extremely compassionate to us and our situation. They helped us extend our stay on short notice, made sure we had everything we needed during our stay, and would check in with us about the condition of our sick relative. We were so fortunate to be able to stay together at this hotel as it was within walking distance of the nearby hospital, and it was so well managed that we never had to stress about our stay and were able to fully focus on the care of our family member in the hospital. The hotel rooms are clean, the rooftop lounge areas are amazing and peaceful, and the location couldn’t be better for beach access and great food. We will absolutely be planning a return in the future under happier circumstances. This hotel deserves 6 stars out of 5!
