First United Methodist Church

I visited this church again recently and found that it has changed a great deal and not for the better. It looks as if it is closed. When I got there the building was suppose to be open but the front door was locked. The new secretary, a woman who told me her name was Debbie Herrera, took her time to open the door, questioning me before she would allow me into the building. I was there to speak to the pastor, but he wasn't there at the time.If you are looking for a warm, friendly place to worship, look elsewhere.

Wonderful place. I only been in Laredo a week and don't know anyone. I came here today and everyone is so welcoming and warming. Beautiful place with beautiful people. A true place full of God's people. Love it

Great place for used books, 1st Saturday of every month and every Wednesday. Super good prices, you can't beat that

Very unfriendly secretary. What happened to Yvette? This church is not very friendly anymore.
