Castillo de Chapultepec

El castillo o museo, es un lugar interesante para ver y leer un poco de la historia de México, datos, objetos, pinturas y más podemos observar en este increíble lugar. Dos cosas:1. En los días que se paga la entrada tendrás más tranquilidad para observar todo en el museo.2. Los días gratis, se llena tanto de gente que no se logra apreciar tanto el museo.

A beautiful estate nestled over 2000 meters above sea level. It offers a breathtaking 360 views of Mexico City and the surrounding Chapultepec park. This is a definite must see not only for the views of Mexico City but to also appreciate the architecture and beautiful grounds of the Castle. From the garden on the first floor by the entrance to the second floor garden, the vibrant stained glass windows, the beautiful paintings, and learning about the history of Mexico City, this place has it all! It is a bit of a hike from the ticket office to the castle so make sure to wear comfortable shoes, breathable clothes and pack some cold water!

Great museum, architecture, and views of the city above a literal forest. I came on a Saturday and while there were many people, it didn’t feel way too crowded. Loved taking pictures and learning about the history of the site and of the city.NOTE: Sundays are free entrance for Mexican nationals, so I’d suggest visiting on a Saturday or during the week, to avoid massive crowds.

Un lugar muy interesante, con una gran cantidad de esculturas, exposiciones, arte e historia de nuestro país.Un detalle que disfrute mucho fue la distribución de los diferentes cuartos y el período de la historia que representaba cada uno.El jardín es de los lugares más bonitos, con las grandes vistas desde la terraza y las fuentes que hay alrededor.

Un lugar imperdible para visitar. La entrada tiene un costo de 90 pesos, pro los domingos el acceso es gratis para mexicanos. El lugar el grande, muy bien cuidado, además de tener una buena vista.

Este museo me fascinó, está lleno de historia y cosas muy interesantes, el lugar es precioso, la opulencia en que vivían es asombrosa. Recomiendo llegar muy temprano. Abren a las 9. Yo llegue a las 8 y fui de los primeros en entrar, incluso encontré ahí mismo estacionamiento y el recorrido lo hicimos en 2 horas. Eso sí, lleva zapato cómodo porque hay que caminar bastante! $90 por persona se me hizo un poco carrito pero si vas en domingo es gratis!

Great views, may be a guided tour works best to have a route inside the place as it is big and there is a lost of information and history that might be better digested if someone is explaining it in a certain order. I went on a regular Saturday and there were 2 people in line before me. Try to be early around 9 or 10 am it got crowded afterwards.There castle is between 2 to 3 hours + depending on your own approach.Remember there is a Zoo and the forest to walk through if you like.
