Amazing site once I made it to the balloon site. Getting there was another story. I booked my tour through Expedia. It took me to email back and forth to get not one but another location for meeting point since they only pick up certain hotel. Then you have to meet like 530AM, so I booked Uber for 4am then late that night they email me pick up will be at 6am so Need to get another UBER but I ended up getting there at 5am. Uber was like 7 minutes away and I didn't want to risk not getting another Uber in time. It was so stressful to get to meeting point. The driver was out so they have another driver that doesn't speak much English. He came little late and I must have ask 7 vans is this my Balloon tour. I didn't know where exactly I was supposed to be pick up. At the Hotel or across the street from the hotel where all the bus and vans were there. Smh

Absolutely loved our experience with flying pictures Mexico! The whole experience was so smooth and well organised, from the pick-up at our AirBnB, to the balloon ride, and breakfast afterward. Big thank you to everyone involved for making this such a memorable experience, would recommend to anyone visiting Mexico.

I decided to you use Flying Pictures after randomly coming across a vlog by a couple on YouTube (the name of the channel is Eric and Sara) who recorded their experience with the company.I was extremely happy with the entire experience. I don’t know how other companies operate since this is my first hot air balloon experience but Flying Pictures was very professional and well organized.We were picked up by Pedro at 4:45am. He then picked up three other groups across the city. There were seven of us total in the van for the ride from CDMX.We arrived to the company’s air field where several employees wrangled the dozens of tourists (other folks drive themselves plus there are multiple cans picking up groups in the city). The very professional way everything was handled at the air field gave me confidence that I picked the right company. I had never been on an air balloon and was anxious. Seeing what a tight ship they ran definitely calmed my nerves.There were bathrooms at the air field.We got directed to our balloon where they had a crew of 6-7 people working around the balloon to keep it stable and to help people into the basket.The pilot was very professional and seemed very aware of his surroundings and the safety of everyone, both the tourists and the grounds crew.The flight was great. I’m so glad I got to experience that. It’s amazing seeing dozens and dozens of balloons in the air and floating among them.We did not get as close to the pyramids as they did in the YouTube video but I was still very happy with the experience.I was super anxious about landing but my apprehension was unnecessary. The pilot kept in contact with the grounds crew via cell phone (hands-free) and he landed the basket with amazing precision right on the bed of the transport trailer.We were then taken to a restaurant for a breakfast buffet. I wasn’t expecting much from the breakfast buffet but I have to say that it was great. It was varied and all the food tasted great. The chilaquiles and alote were really good but the chambarete en salsa verde was by far my favorite.After breakfast we got taken to the pyramids. We did not pay for the guided tour at the pyramids, instead opting to walk around on our own, and I regret that. I wish I had paid the extra money for the guided tour.When we wrapped up, Pedro took us back to the city.I wasn’t sure how the transfer to and from CDMX was going to work. I didn’t realize we would have the same driver throughout the day. I really liked that. It made it easy to find the right van and driver at each pick up spot. Also, Pedro was super nice and kept an eye out for everyone.Everyone I came into contact with from Flying Pictures was really genuinely nice. It was such a great experience working with them.By the way, one member of the grounds crew collects tips once the balloon has landed and everyone is safely off loaded and in the van. I didn’t know that and tipped the pilot directly.

Experiencia espectacular!! Nuestro piloto el “Capi” sin duda es un maestro en lo que hace y demuestra su pasión por su trabajo lo cual nos hizo sentir cómodos en todo momento. La comida, el personal y Pedro en el transporte, excepcional. Recomendado 100%.

What views!!!We took the sunrise trip they picked us from the hotel in 4am we came to the place we saw how they filling the ballon with the fire they gave us cookies and cold/warm drinks then we flew it was amazing !!!After they drove us to the breakfast buffet I didn’t like the food much but the fruits was tasty

Amazing experience with flying pictures! Everything was so smooth and a very well organised team, they picked us up from the hotel on time and even accommodated an extra person we added late, constant communication with the driver on WhatsApp was great tooCoffee and tequila on arrival! Then the balloons were one of the best things I’ve ever done, our pilot was incredible too. Once we landed they took us for a nice breakfast at a local cafe then we had time to explore the pyramids before heading home. All round an amazing experience with the best staff and a well run operation, highly recommended.

Flying in a balloon is a lifetime experience and you should try it if you are in Mexico City. Flying Pictures de Mexico made our experience even more memorable. They are a well organized group with loads of experience. The pilot was remarkable, the food was delicious and the owner is a great man with a high level of professional ethics. I would highly recommend them as they will definitely try their best to make your visit to Teotihuacán a memorable one.

The VIP tour of Teotihuacán offered by Flying Pictures was one of the highlights of our trip to CDMX. The tour was personable, organized, and delightful. Every detail was planned, and yet it felt very casual and flexible. Super nice crew from pilot to driver to to guide to owner, really everyone! It seems like they have a lot of fun working together, and that makes the trip very enjoyable. 100% recommend

Amazing experience, the ride is so smooth you don’t really feel when going up which is nice for a first time on a balloon. Once you are up there and you see all the sky full of balloons with the pyramids on the back, it’s beautiful. They will take you to a nice breakfast and you can walk around the pyramids later, it’s a must do!
