Cenote Yax-kin

En un día cualquiera decidimos junto con la familia pasar un rato fuera de la rutina, por lo que nuestra decisión nos llevó a el cenote Yax-kin, la verdad no teníamos idea de A cual ir pero mientras íbamos wn camino vimos esta entrada y decidimos pasar y descubrir algo nuevo.Creo que conducir por hora y media desde cancun ni fue mala idea, desde que entras estas rodeado de vegetación natural del lugar, el camino muy accesible después del estacionamiento (habría que hacer algo con el acceso principal ya que esta bastante malo) y puedes tomar fotos o disfrutar de la entrada.Llegando te encuentras con el área de cobro, pero desde ahí puedes ver lo hermoso que es el cenote, aguas cristalinas y refrescante.El precio es muy accesible, nosotros como locales solo pagamos 100 pesos, los niños pagan menos que eso, si puedes llevar tu chaleco salvavidas, gogles y tubos lo puedes hacer, jo hay restricción en ese punto, ahora si lo olvidaste o no llevas con tigo... no te preocupes, ellos los rentan a precios accesibles, de preferencia lleva sandalias ya que el camino es todo terraceria y ponerte o quitarte los tenis es algo tedioso.Antes de entrar al cenote deves ducharte, es parte importante para cuidar el área natural y no aplicar bloqueador solar, las duchas están disponibles en el mismo lugar.Digamos que el cenote principal tiene camastros disponibles, puedes hacer uso de ellos y descansar mientras estás en medio de la naturaleza, en lo personal me gusto mucho por que las personas llegan a relajarse(evita llevar parlantes, no es agradable escuchar música mientras intentas descansar del ajetreo de la ciudad)Y así tu puedes descansar también.La comida deliciosa y a buen precio, el lugar muy bonito el agua de piña super delicioso, los chicos del restaurante muy amables.En fin, se abre de 10 a 5 y tienes tiempo para pasar un gran día...Si deciden pasarla bien, creo que no hay lugar mejor que cenotes Yax-Kin.

The cenote was beautiful. There's actually 2 cenotes here but one had a lot of algae and no one was in it so we stuck to the main one. Very calm, probably around 50ish other people there but didn't feel like it at all. We were able to spread out easily. Plenty of places to take amazing photos and picnic tables/grills to eat at. Cheap as well!

If you're not looking for a Disneyland of a cenote, that is also very well priced and is very well maintained, this is your place. There are several pools each with their own privacy/space, some had algae but the water was still very clean. Not busy and very relaxing, plus several ledges to jump off of, restaurant....Great place, great quality, very friendly staff. (Note, attached photo is from a secondary pool we discovered)

We went on a Sunday and there was a lot of locals. The cenote is beautiful and worth it.It is not too expensive and a nice place to swim.

This place is incredible!! The most beautiful cenote I've ever been too. It has a lot of shallow areas for little kids to play in and the colours are mesmerising. It's extremely clean, well maintained and the guy on the entrance is very helpful and friendly. Would recommend this cenote to anyone with kids 100%

Amazing day in this family-friendly cenote. We arrived around 11 o’clock and there were only two other families. One side of the cenote is pretty shallow, perfect for younger kids, the other side is much deeper. There is a restaurant on-site, you can rent life-jackets or buy some snacks (the artisanal popsicles are very tasty).The employees are all very friendly and helpful. Would really recommend this cenote for a nice, relaxing family day.

Beautiful cenote! Perfect for kids with lots of shallow areas. There's a deeper section with a 10ft jump. We arrived right as they opened and got to be the first in the water. When we left at 12, there were still less than 20 people there. Not sure why it's not more popular! Highly recommend it. And it's only 120 peso/person. Note that it opens at 10am, despite their Facebook page saying 9am. And it was nice to have a restaurant on site, but the food was mediocre.

Hermoso cenote a cielo abierto, la entrada es barata a comparación de otros cenotes y lugares turísticos de la zona. En el lugar se alquilan chalecos salvavidas, hay venta de algunos snacks y también un restaurante. El cenote tiene distintos niveles de profundidad y varios lugares para lanzarse al agua, también hay camastros, mesas y parrillas para cocinar. Lo único negativo es que hay muchos mosquitos y no se permite el uso de repelente, pero se entiende porque contamina el agua. Aún así lo recomiendo por su enorme belleza y su poca concurrencia!

Cenote abierto, pequeño con camastros, la comida del restaurante es deliciosa y a buen precio, los domingos se llena un poco, el precio de entrada es $150 y $120 para locales con identificación.
