La Paz Cruisers Supply

I sailed my boat from Seattle to La Paz two and a half years ago with the intention of staying two months. I am still here. I was lucky enough to find this company on my first day in La Paz and they were able to help with almost everything needed including taking care of the boat when I would leave for the summer.

This is the second year we've had them watch our boat while we were out of town. They did a great job. They are also able to find cleaning and maintenance people at a good price.

Had an interesting experience getting parts to a customer of mine in La Paz. The parts arrived, but slightly later (3 days) than scheduled which isn't the end of the world. What was a problem was how hard it was to get any information about the status of the shipment. No one seemed to know whether it was on a truck, sitting in the warehouse or lost completely. Lori was very nice and eventually was able to track it down, Rich unfortunately came across as antagonistic and dismissive. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but this experience did not match up with similar ones using other companies in other countries. Also, my client informed me that both boxes he received were cut open and appeared to have been sorted through.Posted a screenshot of the clarification I received about their services.

Small store, but commonly needed parts and supplies. If they don't have it in stock, they can help you find it.

small place, I liked the original owner's shop better, there were a lot more parts and easier to shop.

Rich and his videos are very helpful.

Just picked up packages for the first time. They were very easy to deal with and always available when I reach out. I'm still waiting on prices because Lori wasn't available when we got there and Rich let us take the packages, telling us we could pay later. THAT'S service!Read the negative reviews in context. Two married couples got nasty for some reason and coordinated to harm this small business. Most of the negatives have no more than this one negative review that they've ever written. They are trying to get even for some perceived slight. I'm around 300 at this point and try to give reasonable, factual insight.

Terrible Experience. Don't trust these people. Especially Rich Boren.
