There is something special about this gym, and the way Tre and Cassie teach Brazilian Jui Jitsu here in Cabo San Lucas.In my first month as a Ground Dweller I rolled with people from Canada, Columbia, Mexico, and the US at all belt levels. Every day there’s common goal to grow as a student personally and to push each other to be better.There’s a sense of family and community here that is difficult to find, and impossible to fake.And while this is a very tight knit and supportive group, they are open to welcoming new members and drop ins. I know personally as someone brand new to the sport not long ago.The training here is taught by two competition black belts, so if you’re looking to start or are visiting for a week or longer, I’d recommend dropping in to check it out.

I had the opportunity to spend three days training at Ground Dwellers Cabo. Tre and his facility are top notch! Great mat space, great changing area and the facility is extremely clean! The instruction and class gave me some great new parts of my game to experiment with. The location is easily walkable from all parts of Cabo and I will most definitely train here again on my next vacation!

We came for the Ground Dwellers Cabo BJJ camp and it was amazing! Tre and Cassie pour themselves into every single student and care so much about their Cabo community. They are the real deal and so incredibly knowledgeable on jiu jitsu, yet are so humble and happy to teach everyone who walks in. They are both black belts, so you are getting two black belts in the same room every class. I truly can’t say enough good things about them, they are legit!

Two stripe older white belt here. Awesome team at ground dwellers. A lot of higher belts. Had some solid rolls and quite a few taps (by me). No one cranked any submissions and they gave some post roll advice. There was also a brown belt visiting and getting some solid rolls. Next visit to Cabo I'll get a place walking distance and visit the gym more often. If you are visiting and looking for a bjj gym this spot is legit. Serious hospitality from Ground Dwellers Cabo.

I am happy to share my experience training here at Ground Dwellers Cabo during the last year. The training here is top notch, but what really makes this place stand out is the people and the Ground Dwellers Community. It's become a second home for my 5 year old son and I, as we both train here. My son started first on a recommendation from a friend. The kids class is run by multiple coaches in order to give the kids a better instructor to athlete ratio. The kids learn important drills first. Class is filled daily with a mixture of fun, skills and challenges such as sparring. Our adult classes are fun as well. There are classes from beginners to black belt and the gym boasts now 5 black belts. Our team consists of guys and girls and everyone is super supportive and always willing to share with you something new. We also have the more competitive guys/girls. Class is a mixture of warm-up, technique, and rolling everyday. I highly recommend 6am-8am Throwdown Thursdays! The team itself has a variety of events such as open mats to get together at our gym and even join at other local gyms. We get a lot of drop-ins from people all over that love jiu jitsu and that's always a nice way meet people and learn together. I want to thank Coach Tre, Miss Cassie, Damien, Abi, and Audrey- you guys are the best!

Tre and the crew are awesome! I stopped in while on vacation for the early morning classes. Instruction is excellent, the folks are super welcoming and the rolls were tough. If you’re in town and want to get some training in, highly highly recommend Ground Dwellers. Can’t recommend enough. I’m taking home some great techniques and will absolutely be back!
