Incredible spot which honours the mosaic of culinary traditions in Mexico. Homage is given to where the food was inspired, with a beautiful menu that reads like a novel. Highly recommended! (Get the tomato salad.)

Great 5 course tasting menu - able to do a vegetarian version. I was very full and unable to finish by the end - maybe shouldn’t have gotten the alcohol pairing! Service was great too.

Mux is an absolute gem in Mexico City! Having lived in Mexico for six years, I can confidently say that my visit to Mux ranks among the top five food experiences I’ve ever had here. The menu is truly out of this world, and what sets it apart is that it changes every nine months, showcasing an investigative kitchen that focuses on different regions during each period.The cocktails at Mux are simply unique and authentically Mexican. It’s best to have everyone at the table order different cocktails so you can sample the full array of delightful flavors. For anyone visiting Mexico City, Mux should be your first stop on a deep dive into fine Mexican dining.The quality of the experience at Mux is exceptional, and surprisingly, the prices are very reasonable. The ambiance is perfect with a warm and hip vibe, and the DJ sets the tone perfectly. I’m already eagerly looking forward to my next visit to Mux - it’s an experience that’s hard to forget!

A Bery cute, chic, and hip, casual spot. We visited the place as a part of our food tour in Roma ( booked through TripAdvisor). The chef traveled throughout the Mexico and got inspired to create something which is very much Mexican. The sitting and the utensils all look very artsy. We started with a cocktail. I don’t know what it was made with, however, it was very refreshing and cool. I loved it. In the first course we got a triangular pastry ( reminds me of Indian samosa) on top of a brown mole. The mole was terrific. The triangular pastry had some leafy vegetables inside. It was decent, however the mole overpowered everything and that was the highlight. In the second course, we got a tiny karahi ( a variation of Indian cookware) full of some Mexican rice and some shredded chicken cooked in green mole. Both of them were very fragrant, and tasty. Overall, the place has a humble feeling with an upscale ambiance. I absolutely enjoyed my time here.

Mux offers such a wonderful experience - the food is incredible (as are the cocktails!) and the menu describes every region that each dish hails from, as well as featuring the chefs who are striving to preserve cuisine from very specific regions in Mexico. Our server was so attentive and kind and several times throughout the evening the chef sent over extra goodies, from tamales to mezcal. I can’t emphasize enough how excellent our time was here. Recommend to all.

The service here was SO good. Our waitress was incredible. everything was delicious. The chicken mole was fantastic, but the highlight was the salad with flowers and grilled mushroom. great vibes and outdoor patio seating too. Highly recommend!

Amazing and unique little restaurant. The chef undertakes an in-depth study of a region and presents the preparation along with the history and origins of the recipe. The menu reads like a story book so prepare to practice your Spanish (although the servers are always willing to explain everything if you need it)! They also have a five course tasting menu if you want to experience the full breadth of what they offer.We're started off with a couple of salads, which were exceptional and featured unusual produce that the restaurant sources from traditional farmers. Many of these items are in danger of not being cultivated because of low profitability or lack of demand.The main courses featured complex moles and perfectly cooked meats. Great experience overall!!

We came here on a weeknight after being disappointed with our first course at another restaurant. Our disappointment turned to jubilation upon arrival. It is beautifully decorated, comfortable and had relaxing music playing. The indoor outdoor seating was equally as good. After our waitress delivered the plates she recommended, we knew we were in the right spot. Not to mention the cocktails were fantastic! After tasting the first course we immediately asked for more. She put up with my broken Spanish and made transitions seamlessly when needed. The sauces were spicy yet balanced and tortillas were unlike anything I’ve tasted before. Please, please give this place a try, it’ll be worth your time and tastebuds!!

Was really happy that I randomly found this restaurant through an article. I rarely write reviews but this place was amazing. From the decor to the service to the food. Our waitress Daniella was lovely and very helpful. To help us order, she suggested that they bring various dishes for us to try. We decided on 5 surprise dishes and they were all delicious. The tuna tar tar was to die for. So beautifully prepared as well. A feast for not only the stomach but the eyes too. I wish we took photos of the food but we were enjoying everything so much we forgot to. Would definitely go back. Even their brunch menu looked yummy.

The food here was truly amazing, with the best mole chicken (we had the green and the special mole) I have ever eaten! Had a really great portobello salad as well. The cocktails were inventive and tasty. Our waiter did a wonderful job guiding us through the menu, and recommended perfect sipping tequilas as well. The menu is unique as the chef tells a story about local cooks she worked with to develop the menu ideas - really cool!
