We took a private tour (10 adults and a baby) to Chichen Itza, Ek Balam and a cenote. And another private tour to Tulim, Coba, and a cenote. These two trips were the highlights of our vacation, something we will fondly remember as a family forever. Breathtaking, awe-inspiring, haunting, and exciting.Eder was an outstanding tour guide. He was kind, patient (with us taking our time seeing things, bathroom breaks, asking questions, wandering off, etc), informative/interesting, accommodating, and entertaining. He made the whole trip worth every penny. We felt safe, looked after, and comfortable by his ever-attentive stewardship.Joaquin was a great driver. We got where we needed safely and on time. He watched over our personal items while we swam in the cenote.

My family and I did the Mystic Chichen Itza and Valladolid tour. This is my second time with Yukatreks. Love this tour group! Eder was my same guide 10 years ago! Eder is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and personable. We had the best time, which included a delicious meal and a beautiful cenote swim. You will learn so much about Chichen Itza. Be prepared to walk around the site for almost 3 hours. Joaquin was our awesome and safe driver. Trust me, tour with these guys!

Tour with Edar and Cesar. Guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We visited during the equinox, and the staff went well out of their way (both in reorganizing the schedule and working extra hours) to ensure we were able to view the pyramid at Chichen Itza at the optimal time.Much better value and content than any of the tours offered by our hotel (and considerably less expensive as well).

YucaTreks private tours are a must if you’re in the Playa del Carmen/ Cancun/ Tulum area! Take the stress and worry out of your trip by planning a tour ahead of time instead of waiting until you’re at your resort and don’t know what you’re going to get! Yucktreks will pick you up and drop you off from where you are staying in an air conditioned van filled w water, soft drinks and snacks. They have several excursions to choose from which which mainly focus on the Mayan culture and cenotes. If we didn’t have our kids with us (6&10) we would have definitely opted for one of their full day more detailed itineraries but with keeping our kiddos in mind we opted for the Tulum lite tour which is their 1/2 day tour and it was absolutely perfect. We worked first with Mitch through email planning out the details of our trip. Because it is private they can customize to your wants and needs and are very flexible. Mitch was great to work with and very patient with my many questions!Eder was our actual tour guide/ driver on the day of the tour and he was fantastic. So kind and thoughtful, it felt like he was just part of our family. He was extremely knowledgeable of Mayan history and culture so we understood the history behind the Tulum ruins and knew what it was we were looking at. He painted a great picture for us of what the Mayan people were like 1,000s of years ago. After touring the ruins we cooled off in a beautiful cenote and ended with a delicious lunch. It was such a memorable experience for our family and I recommend this tour company, 100%… worth every penny!

My son and I had an amazing tour with Edar and Caesar. Edar was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Chichen Itza. They provided yummy sandwiches, a variety of snacks and drinks. The lunch was excellent. I’ve been on tours to Chichen Itza several times and this was the best tour I’ve ever taken. You won’t be disappointed if you take a tour with Yukateks.

I have taken several tours with Yuka Treks and enjoyed them thoroughly!Their guides are extremely knowledgable about the sites as well as the local flora, wildlife and culture of the indigenous people. The trips were well planned with excellent food stops along the way.They are a great way to see and learn about the area.

We booked the Ek Balam, cenote, and Valladolid tour with YucaTreks and it was a highlight of our visit to the Riviera Maya. This was our first time in Mexico and I am delighted to have visited Ek Balam instead of one of the more crowded Mayan ruins. The cenote, Saamal, was absolutely stunning and memorable. Eder was very friendly and knowledgeable and the vehicle was spacious, clean, and in good condition.
