Jeff Ryder’s is probably one of the best and most helpful drum shops you can go to. I came here just wanting to check out a cool local drum shop while in town, and I came out with spare parts, new drumhead and cymbal, and advice on how to fix a broken lug situation. As someone who’s been wanting more help compared to a usual Guitar Center question, this is miles above the expectations I had for this shop. Jeff was really friendly, informative, and helpful, and giving me ideas and advice on things I didn’t even know about. Thank you so much for a great experience.

Hands down the only drum shop to visit in San Antonio! Don't waste your time, and go straight to Jeff's. I was recently there to purchase new drumheads for a recording date. Jeff and Alex listened to my questions, and picked out the perfect set of heads for my drums. Highly recommended.

Great selection of high quality gear - Zildjian, Meinl, Paiste, cymbals. Great customer service that lets you try the cymbals out, pick up the snares and examine the gear. And better prices than Sweetwater or Guitar Center!

Awesome place, awesome small town vibe with the owner working directly with you + learning you ALL the things. Hahaha.I needed something ordered and he let us borrow some while we waited! The best place for all things pertaining to drums in the entire city. Heads to cymbals, lessons to used gear, you won't ever go back to a big box store after visiting Jeff Ryder's. Prices are more than competitive and the staff and atmosphere is just great vibes.
