I came at 9 am and the restrooms were already messy. The shelves were bare. The cashier was extremely rude. We asked if this register was where we pay and the girl said yes and continued to talk to her coworker while we waited. She also wouldn’t take our Texas ID with veteran annotation for the veteran discount. We bought a fishing license that wasn’t printed and given to us. Unbelievable.

Worst customer service experience in a while! It’s no longer about the customer it’s so sad! Marisela manager refused to help. And Leslie cashier stared at us without telling us she couldn’t help. It was a joke retail is t the same anymore

We checked online for the stationary bike and it said that was available but when we got there the associate said that they did not have it.We asked if we could order one and have it deliver at the store but the associate said that it cannot be done.Horrible experience! The associate not knowledgeable enough. The whole thing was a disappointment.We end up going to Walmart and they had it available and be ready to purchse

Rude cashier and,over priced items on clothes and camping gear and no prices on items that I purchased. Had to look on line for prices and very dirty place.

This is the sporting goods store I love to visit when I need to get something from a sports store. They have just about everything that you need.I have also found that the personell are knowledgeable in their fields of sells. I highly recommend Academy Sports to any one who is looking for a sports store.

I like academy. Great store. But they seem to always have creepy men walking around aimlessly. This last time there was a man everywhere I was, but didn't have a cart or any merchandise in his hands. But everywhere I went I'd catch a glimpse of this dude. I eventually told my kid, look at that man he's been everywhere we are you need to stay close to me." Yes loud enough for the guy and some workers to hear. Then he disappeared. I didn't see him again."

Horrible service. Have purchased plenty items and needed a manager. They made me wait for over an hour and a half waiting for this “manager”. Kept asking the poor employee to please get the manager and he kept getting on the radio to call for a manager. No one would answer him, another person at the gun counter was also waiting for a manager. They kept us waiting for ever without any update on when this manager would come. Decided to leave when they couldn’t help me, horrible service.
