I have to rate this a 5 star for anyone coming into town because It's a one stop shop to find out what there's to do year round in, not only in Brownsville, but the Rio Grande Valley! Even for myself, being a local, I was surprised to find some hidden jewels by visiting the Brownsville Convention & Visitors Bureau. With the Help of Felix Espinoza, one of the associates behind the desk... this man has a passion for his job, the kind of passion that's rare to find in today's quick paced world. He knows the in's and out's of the entire Rio Grande Valley better than anyone we've known. Whatever your likings, this gentleman has a destination for you to visit. You've already been there? Not a problem, he'll point you into the right direction and give you some spots that you didn't even know where there! This gentleman is a true ambassador of our beloved home and rich culture. With service this good I recommend even our locals to drop by and see what next adventure awaits you.In addition to those already awesome service, the staff is available to assist groups and planners with organizing meetings and conventions in Brownsville.

The center was closed due to Covid, but a staff member came to the door, asked us what we were looking for, then went inside and came back with maps, pamphlets and brochures that gave us all the information we wanted. She was cheerful, helpful, and most pleasant. Wonderful experience.
