Whale Watching Sayulita - La Orca de Sayulita

Always a wonderful experience! They are doing excellent work for studying whales. The only eco tour for whales in Sayulita, make sure you pick this one. Wonderful guides- love Alison she is so passionate and Niko is a true gem for our Sayulita community - they work hard to make sure you have lots of fun!

Sorry the pictures don't give our experience enough justice. We wish we could upload videos. Whales breaching everywhere. And with our Marine Biologist Esteban on board taking his own observations and sightings while giving us the best explanation and knowledge of what we were seeing and more, this was a magnificent experience for my wife and me. Gracias todos. Hearing the whales singing was also a new experience. This was an educational, personal, and tour de force trip. Humbles and forces you to marvel at the best that Nature can offer and show you. Go see whales with La Orca de Sayulita. You will be glad (and thankful) you did!

I have been on a few whale watching tours in Sayulita but none as amazing as this one! The amount of knowledge and pure joy Nico has for these sea creatures is contagious. It’s incredible to see these animals so close and even more to be able to soak up the data the research the team has been doing for years. I felt as excited as a kid on a field trip! We even had the luck of having orca come right up along the boat and pass under. I highly recommend this expert tour!!!

I wish I could give more stars to La Orca de Sayulita. Our experience with them was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Esteban was our guide and Angel was our captain and they could not have been more amazing. We were extremely lucky to watch a juvenile male breach for 45 minutes and then even saw more whales later on. Esteban was incredibly engaging and knowledgable. It was clear that he has a true love and passion for the whales. It was a joy to share the experience with him as our guide.This is the right place to spend your money to view whales as it directly supports the workers research and the cost of detanglement for whales affected by fishing nets. We took the latest slot (3:30) and they told us exactly what to expect (choppy water but a good chance of sighting) so just communicate with the team and they will help you pick what time slot is right for you. We would absolutely take this tour again and will any time we return to Sayulita!

We had such a great experience with zoologist, Nico, and captain, Angel. Both were so knowledgeable and friendly. And, can they spot wildlife at a distance! We saw two different breeds of whales, as well as dolphins and birds on our tour. It was fantastic. We would definitely go out with them again.

Sayulita is a captivating town, full of charm and good vibes. Any visitor to this place, within season, owes it to themselves to take a boat ride on La Orca de Sayulita to experience the simliar captivation one receives amongst the whales just a short trip past the waves.And really, the most unique and fun part of this tour verses comparable whale watching in the general PV area, is the beach launching and landing with the panga boat. You don't want to miss out on the rustic feel of a Mexican fishing panga being launched from the sand into the world famous surf of Sayulita by a tractor! It's nothing dangerous or even uncomfortable, but comes with a thrill. We didn't even get wet.We set off and within 10 minutes found a mom and a baby whale. They were understandably in a mellow mood, so after enjoying them for 15 minutes the guide and captain moved us along in pursuit of more action".And did we find action! A whole pod of whales
