Alamo Renta de Autos

Do NOT rent from Alamo. I added the car rental onto my airline ticket. Went through the process and when I got there, the guy (Dagoberto) at the counter said I needed to purchase a higher insurance because the one I had didn't fully cover the car. When I asked how much, he said $340 extra. I said I don't want it. Then he said he had to place a $3000 hold on my credit card. I would have allowed the hold, but I didn't have that amount available. He saw how upset I was and then he said, he could lower it to $260. The car they gave us, had worn out tires, my husband pointed that out and they said the hotel would change the car for us. The hotel did not have any car with good tires so they sent us back into town to another Alamo location. They finally changed our car to something decent, but this took time away from our vacation. Beware of their scam!!!!

My experience with Alamo in Loreto at both the airport and in town has always been excellent! They always help my wife and I on our vacations. Thanks to Jonatan and the rest of the team (I don't have their names). We look forward to seeing you next Thanks - Muchas gracias!

Mal servicio. Llego mi vuelo y no habia nadie en el mostrador, tuve que hablar al 01 800 y que me resolvieran.Cuando regrese el auto me cobraron 500 pesos extras por entregarlo con arena, siendo que es un destino de playa y si es que te van a cobrar el lavado deberian incluirlo en el precio.Por cierto uno termina pagandoles ademas el seguro que tanto insisten en venderte.Mala expreciencia
