Wir sind Mitte Mai in Potrero Chico für eine Woche klettern gegangen. Dabei hat Simeon uns einen ortskundigen, professionellen Guide namens Ulicci organisiert. Obwohl es nicht mehr Saison war und wir die einzigen Kletterer waren, verbrachten wir eine sehr schöne, abenteuerliche Zeit. Der Fels und die Routen sind fantastisch und die Mexikaner im Dorf die freundlichsten Menschen auf der Erde!Hoffentlich schaffen wir es bald zurück. Das nächste mal aber für längere Zeit!

Had an incredible experience with SouthernXposure climbing Peña de Bernal and in Aculco de Espinoza. The climbs, landscapes and towns themselves were absolutely beautiful.The guide, Carlos, is a legend. It was fun and inspiring to climb with someone like this in his home area and to hear about the history of climbing in Mexico from someone who made it happenSimeon, the owner, really went above and beyond. Besides being helpful with information arranging all transport etc. he honestly treated me as a friend rather than just a client and made sure I had the best time possible in central Mexico.100% recommended to anyone who wants to have a great time on the rock in these beautiful places so close to Mexico City

Simeon truly knows the triple crown of Mexico in and out as he and Jerry developed many of the routes there. We were able to climb routes that are not in any guidebook, and on gorgeous rhyolite crack that you rarely find in the US.Simeon is super encouraging and seemed to be genuinely just as stoked for us as we were. As a new leader, I felt comfortable and confident lead climbing outside for the first time.This trip expanded my awareness of climbing in Mexico outside EPC and I left with so much good beta on the area for when I return. 10/10 would recommend.

We had the most amazing trip to Jilotepec, Pena de Bernal, and Aculco canyon with Carlos as our guide! We provided the days we had available and a rough idea of where we might like to climb, and Simeon and Carlos handled absolutely every other detail -- way more than I ever would have expected from a climbing guide service!I can't overstate how great our guide Carlos was, he took the time to teach us every step of the way and we learned so much on top of having some of the safest and most fun climbing of our life.If you're looking to rock climb in Mexico, this service is exactly what you're looking for. I can't recommend highly enough!

What a wonderful 4 days of being on the rock. I had the opportunity to climb at 3 totally different rock climbing areas using different climbing styles, with a bonus day of rappelling and an anchor cleaning clinic. Sim and his fabulous guides were all so personable, but importantly capable in sharing their experience and love for the sport. I felt privileged to be able to climb on some brand new routes in the company of those who are respectfully developing the climbing area. I especially appreciated Sim's consideration and support of the local community, which when shared with the group, added to the richness of my time in central Mexico through excellent food and camaraderie.

PERFECTO is how I would describe my recent adventure with S. Exposure’s Women’s Climbing Retreat. The whole experience exceeded my (very high) expectations. Simeon truly took care of all the details, including truly amazing meals each day, very comfortable lodging, all transportation, and of course, arranging climbing in the coolest locations ever. The vibe was chill, but each one of us pushed thru personal climbing barriers, while feeling wholly supported and cheered on by each other. I have traveled all around the world, but I would choose to come back to climb with S. Exposure without hesitation. Simeon hosted the perfect trip with a mix of local culture and rock climbing adventure. The communication leading up to the trip was flawless as we determined what would make our personalized experience just right. Carlos guided us on our last climbing day as we attempted (and succeeded) our first multi pitch.A few trip standouts:-delicious local cheese plate put together by Simeon-watching some soccer at the neighborhood fields-learning new knots and cleaning techniques by Carlos-Simeon’s excellent dinner recommendations in Bernal-Aculco’s residents and their kindness10/10 I’d do it all over again!

I contacted Simeon quite on short notice this summer for a trip up the Peña de Bernal. We arranged a 7 pitch tour and a awesome guide (Ulises aka Ulicci).Communication upfront was very good and I felt in goods hands from the beginning; nothing left unclear.As I was not exactly planning to do multi pitch that vacation it really helped that Ulises did provide all of the gear (had also my climbing shoes with me)On the day of the climb Simeon arranged a WhatsApp group to keep us all connected from pickup to drop off.Climbing day:We climbed La ruta del padre Yiyo 5.10a or so with very nice friction climbing. I felt always secure with Ulises leading the 7 pitches and we had a good time on the wall.All in all will definitively come back with the guys again for the next trip.
