The St. Anthony, a Luxury Collection Hotel, San Antonio

Valet was great. Rooms would’ve been good, but the hotel floors smelled bad, like an open sewer. We checked out in the morning and wanted to use the pool quickly before driving home, but the front desk attempted to charge us $75.This was definitely not a good experience

Henry is an absolute gem! I cannot praise his valet service enough at St. Anthony hotel. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us with a warm smile and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. His professionalism and efficiency in handling our vehicle were top-notch. Throughout our stay, Henry was always available, ensuring that our car was ready whenever we needed it. His friendly demeanor and attention to detail truly elevated our experience. If you're looking for exceptional valet service, Henry is the one to trust. Five stars all the way!

Beautiful hotel! The room was great and loved the bathroom, especially! Great smelling toiletries! Be aware of the parking cost. It is the same regardless if you use valet or self park. It's $52 overnight. We did not use the pool or eat in the restaurant. Mini bar snacks are $12 ea. That seemed a bit ridiculous but so was the price for valet.

My family and I booked a weekend at St. Anthony and had a terrific time. We booked through American Express, and for the most part, everything was great. The rooms and service were all exceptional. Everything was within walking distance, and the hotel staff was very accommodating.However, I am leaving a one-star review so that what happened to me can be a warning to others.When we were checking out, the Valet forgot to put my car in park, and it rolled forward and struck the car in front of it. It was hard enough to create a paint chip on the bumper, and the car in front had some paint rubbed on it. The people working at the Valet did not know that we had witnessed everything and didn't know that it was our vehicle. I could see from the rear of the car that the vehicle was in accessory mode and that they had not even shut our car off. I told one of the people working that the car wasn't off and that it wasn't in park. Another employee chimed in that it was off and that it was in park. Obviously, that was not the case because vehicles that are off don't have the center console on, and they don't roll forward for no reason.My main gripe is that if my family had walked in front of the car instead of walking behind, we could have all been seriously hurt or killed by being pinned between the two vehicles. Their excuse that they didn't know how Mazdas work" was a terrible excuse. It was highly unsafe and could have hurt my family

What a wonderful experience! From the minute we walked in, the staff were so attentive and polite. The hotel was so fascinating with all of the nooks and crannies and beautiful designs. The live jazz in the lobby that evening was really a treat. The room was very clean and well appointed. We were fortunate enough to get a corner room so that was an extra perk. Our eighth floor room overlooked the church next door. Stunning. It was just a short walk to the Riverwalk and everything that that offers. I highly recommend this hotel. This is the second time we stayed there. The first time was 27 years ago last week... On our wedding night. It was so fun to just revisit everything all over again. I won't be waiting 27 years again.

Great hotel. Room are spacious as well as staff is very cordial and willing to help. Food is amazing (specially their signature dish) and also the place is composition and it’s decoration is very proper to the historic center and San Antonio’s tradition and bohemian vibe.

Awful check-in experience at this hotel. Just awful. My wife tried to check in a few hours before I was able to get there. The staff treated my wife like she was a criminal and they actually made her leave the front check in desk. They told her that she could not be there because she was not listed on the reservation. Tried for a week to talk to the general manager to voice my concerns and was just blew off.The actual hotel is wonderful. We have stayed there many times and, until this, we love it. The pool and the rooms are fantastic.The staff will treat you like hot garbage though - beware.

The hotel is beautiful and the service is top notch. I received morning room service before my busy day and it’s the best room service experience I’ve ever had! Imelda R. brought me my breakfast after choosing what I wanted the night before. I didn’t order coffee but she brought me a fresh pot anyway! She was the perfect person to start my day and the St. Anthony is lucky to have such a vibrant personality hosting their guests!

Great valet service, especially Henry goes above and beyond- professional, prompt and courteous service!Lobby and commons areas have a gorgeous vintage aesthetic.Room was as expected for Marriott brand; comfortable bed with plush bedding.Shower tile can be very slippery, use caution.Note: no floor level ice machines at this location- room service will deliver ice in 1/2gal bag- quick, friendly service.No refrigerator in room either, I was informed a mini fridge could be provided by request.
