Lavanderia Klin- Oax

I got to the laundrette just past closing and had a major panic as all my clothes were in there but my bus left at 8am the next day (there’s only one daytime bus per day to Puerto Escondido or you have to get the night bus!) I’d had a complete nightmare! But I phoned the number and the laundrettes were so amazing they came back and opened up for me so that I could get my clothes. So grateful. And my clothes are washed beautifully!

The lady mixed up our clothes (accidentally) but this wasted a lot of our time trying to find our clothes. The washing service is also average- there are white detergent/powder marks on our clothes for example. Would not recommend based on our experience. Also quite expensive as minimum price is 80 pesos for 4kg.Edit: the lady also lost an item of our clothing, hence we obviously did not pay for the full service. I’ll note we still paid 50peso (full service cost was 80Peso) even though really we should not have paid anything given the cost to us for the item replacement. The lady is clearly also unapologetic despite her mistakes which is not a good look. Hence I am downgrading my review.

Friendly and good service but charged $180 for 3 kg of clothes. I get there being a tourist price but this felt like a rip off

A great service. My partner and I washed a week’s worth of clothes for 70 pesos, and it was washed, dried, and folded within 24 hours. The clothes smelled and looked wonderful. This lady doesn’t charge nearly enough for such a great service. Highly recommend.

Vinimos de viaje y está fue la lavandería más cercana, nos atendieron muy bien y la ropa quedó muy limpia. La recomendamos.

Excellent service--everyone was incredibly friendly and clothes are very clean and returned neatly folded. Reasonably priced, absolutely recommend!
