Dr. Leonardo Abarca

I am 6 weeks post-op from 360 lipo + a BBL + a mini arm lift with Dr Abarca and I had a great experience. It was very important to me when I was researching my options to go with a surgeon that listens and will deliver the patient’s wishes but simultaneously is realistic and honest with expectations. I was a tough case since I had a lot of loose skin and fibrosis from past surgeries, and he really went over and above to make sure I was happy in the end and had great results. I went in at 5’9 and 183 pounds and he molded my body so my results are athletic and natural looking but snatched, which is exactly what I asked for. I travelled from the US to Mexico alone for this procedure and I was extremely nervous because I hadn't seen many reviews/didn't know anyone who went to him/I don’t speak Spanish. However, the process was relatively seamless thanks to his surgery coordinator Andrea who helped me every step of the way - I would have been so lost without her! It was great that Andrea spoke fluent English and Spanish and she was there to answer every question I had leading up to my surgery and even after surgery continued to guide and help me- even going the extra mile to visit me at my Airbnb, take me to my post-op appointments and help me get to the airport when I left. Even now as I'm a month and a half out recovering from the procedure, I'm able to message Dr Abarca or Andrea if I have a question about the healing process and I always get a response right away which, in my opinion, shows above and beyond customer service. What added to the overall experience was that Dr Abarca had great bedside manner- he was kind, honest, funny, positive, and professional.I have had several prior surgeries on various parts of my body and I’ve learned it's EXTREMELY important to do your research on a surgeon before booking a procedure like this as it is expensive and recovery is emotionally taxing and difficult. I’m very happy that I decided to go with Dr Abarca for this round and I feel like he delivered and exceeded all of my expectations- he is a very talented surgeon, and I cannot recommend Dr. Abarca enough!

I am a Canadian who in November 2022 had brachioplasty surgery, in Huatulco November 2022.In late 2021, I posted an inquiry on a Huatulco Facebook page and was promptly contacted by Dr. Abarca’s Local Patient Coordinator, Andrea Garcia. Andrea provided information on the procedure, the surgeon as well as facilitated my consultation with Dr. Abarca in December 2021. Feeling confident with Dr. Abarca and his local support team comprised of Andrea and the staff of OROMED hospital, I scheduled the surgery at my convenience.From consultation to present and including some complications with my healing process, I could not have been happier with the services I received. Both Dr. Abarca and Andrea, depending on where I directed by questions responded promptly and thoroughly. Dr. Abarca himself, provided responses via phone or text, virtually and/or in person. This in my opinion would not be communication support I would be offered or receive from a specialist in Canada.In close, I strongly recommend you consider Dr. Abarca for any plastic surgery needs.
