My fiance and I came to Playa Del Carmen October 7, 2020 during the pandemic. We knew once we got here that there could be a chance with the pandemic that we may not be able to go home. Sure enough all of our flights are canceled and now stuck here in Mexico. Our first month we stayed in an all-inclusive. That was very costly. Feeling stress, I looked up rental agencies in Playa Del Carmen. Boy am I glad to have met Magdalena Fernandez. I called her on a Sunday morning. It was pouring rain, she took us around an area we know nothing about. Gladly to say after looking at 4 places, she got us the place we wanted and the price we were able to afford. She witnessed the signing of the contract to protect us and follow up with us every now and then. Magdalena is a very hard working mom and she is a professional. She cares and respected our needs. I worked with Luis to secure a long term rental in Playa Del Carmen. I was sent several offers by email while I was in the USA before we traveled to PDC to view some great options . Luis worked with a local attorney to draft the lease at a very reasonable fee. As an attorney myself, it was important to work with someone I could trust and would use an attorney to make sure the owner and my interests are protected. Luis also speaks perfect English. Luis was excellent. We moved from LA to Tulum and in a market with many real estate agents (we met with a lot), Luis really stands out from the crowd. He is very professional, responsive, knows Tulum and Playa del Carmen like the back of his hand, and friendly. He listened to our needs and helped us find the perfect apartment. We bought a lot with the help and support of Gabi and her Sales Agent Luis Castillo in 2019. Both are extremely knowledgable and experienced (Playa del Carmen real estate market, buying process etc.) truly professional, honest, very supportive and always sharing lots of tips and ideas about the local area and customs. Although Gabi was at the time in Germany, she was available via Email and phone day and night and with Luis providing to us an outstanding service locally the entire buying process was a very enjoyable experience.

I googled and called several rental companies when we first decided to move to Playa del Carmen. Magda was the first agent to actually answer my phone call. I explained that we were looking for a long-term rental, our budget and needs. Magda respondedthe same day with a possible property. She found us a property in Playacar that we love, and we have been here about three weeks now settling in. During this time, Magda has been extremely helpful and responsive via WhatsApp and has stopped by our house various times to answer all of our questions and assist us with many of the various processes of an international move.
