BirdSong Desert Retreat

BirdSong Desert retreat is a very special place. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend it for anyone looking to relax, unwind and connect with nature. The Casita was very comfortable, clean and fabulous views from the windows or the front porch. The pool was very nice to use during the day and the hot tub at night was the best. Being able to relax in the hot tub while gazing across the horizon during sunset or up at the beautiful stars made the stay 5 stars and more! There really is no reason to leave the place once you arrive. It will cast a spell over you!

Shooting stars, breath taking sunsets, and silence for miles. This place is heaven on Earth. It feels as if magic itself is birthed here. If you need to run away and hear yourself again, this is the place.Robin was an incredible host and you can tell loves this land.

Absolutely wonderful! Beautiful decor, very comfortable bed, gorgeous views. They thought of all the details and more at Birdsong. Such a great place to unwind and relax. Can't wait to visit again!

What a treat! It was so wonderful after a long day of travel to arrive here and see the beautiful sunset and relax by the cozy fire pit under the stars. In the morning we enjoyed the serene and gorgeous sunrise and then walked the labyrinth, which we LOVED!! Great job Robin! Can't wait for our next visit. Thank you!

Kestrel Cottage was the perfect place for a surprise overnight getaway from Tucson for my husband's birthday. Within minutes of our arrival, we were sitting outside with some snacks (including birthday brownie bites waiting for us along with granola and special coffee!), and soaking in the peaceful, glorious views. The cottage has everything you need and more for a comfortable stay. Dinner at Velvet Elvis and a visit to the Paton Center for Hummingbird in Patagonia that evening and a hike at the nearby Sonoita Creek Natural Area the next morning were perfect bookends to the evening spent sitting peacefully outside at Birdsong. We'll be back to soak in the new hot tub next trip! Thanks, Robin.

What an amazing place for a peaceful, relaxing stay! It's absolutely stunning day and night. I loved everything about it, but for me the most relaxing time was using the hot tub at dusk and watching the lights of Nogales slowly come to life. I'll definitely return!

We had the most amazing time at BirdSong celebrating my mom turning 70. Everyone in our group slept great on the comfy beds and nice linens. The kitchens were all well equipped. The pool and hot tub were amazing with their views. Our only regret is that we should have stayed one more night!

This was an incredible rental. The home and setting were spectacular, but Robin’s special touches made the stay even better. There was a pitcher of water with lemons in the refrigerator, coffee, granola, pancake mix, and a basket for our dog. The layout of the house leads to breathtaking views all over. The master is big and has a sitting area for views. The front porch is all about the views. The house is well appointed and quality abounds. We went birding at Patagonia State Park which was ten minutes away. We can’t wait until our next visit.

We had my 70th birthday celebration there with 12 people and 3 dogs. It was fabulous! Very private. Beautiful views and viewing patios and decks to choose from. I would definitely go back. The pool and spa were amazing.

This is an incredible place to escape to for a few days. It has the feel of being somewhere in Kenya. Beautiful views and grasslands that almost force you to relax and unwind. Quiet except for birds and the wind. We stayed in the road runner house which is nicely set aside from the others but the entire place is serene. On site massages arranged by Robin were a great bonus. I’d recommend bringing food. The houses are well equipped for that and then you don’t have to leave!
