Porfirios is for sure a loud restaurant. They have many tvs showing music videos around the restaurant, and they Blast music while also having the mariachi at the same time as the party music. Very VERY loud at night. Food overall was great! I had the Rib Eye Tacos with Cheese, and they tasted great. The Rib Eye fondue was also an amazing starter. This restaurant does know how to make a good indoor outdoor patio, and it was nice. The service was good and the waiters were always around, and they had people coming to check for quality control. Overall a good experience, the very loud music ruined it, and it was raining so just not the right time. If they turned the music down and just had the mariachi it would be great.

We found this place on day 9 of our 10 day trip. And that's unfortunate. Because we would have come here multiple times.Bartender makes a great drink. The food was really good. It's not cheap, but I think it's worth it.Everyone is very nice here as well.You might want to make a reservation if you want to go at night. It's very busy... Even during the week.Here's a picture of them lighting the building on fire. Ok, it's actually a steak that the next table over got... It looked amazing.

Such a super fun place to dine at. Live performances in between tables, fantastic music & delicious food makes for the perfect place. A must visit in playa del carmen

This place is worth every star. A bit high end, larger parties have multiple servers assigned. We selected a few dishes and shared it for table - in this case everyone tried some. Very delicious, amazing presentation of dishes.We were sited at the back of the restaurant and it wasn’t that noisy, we were able to carry out conversation without issue.Some mentioned that service was a bit too much, but I actually prefer it that way rather than waiting for 20-30 for a servant (as usually the case in most of the places we visited in Mexico).We’ll be back, and perhaps not just once.

Todo excelente, el servicio es muy bueno, están pendientes de ti, nosotros fuimos a celebrar aniversario y nos dieron una copa de vino de cortesía y un detalle muy lindo también, la comida es muy rica y el lugar muy ameno. Los churros están buenisimoss!!

Victar and Carlos took such great care of us. The food was good here but the service was incredible. I raised my hand in the air because I was telling a story and one of them just appeared next to me instantly because he thought I was calling him over. Our table was always clean, our water was never empty. I've been to a lot of places all across USA and I've been here in playa for a week and I have never experienced service like this. The environment and presentation are beautiful as well. My husband and I both got drinks and had meals way larger than expected (portion size) with sides AND coffee and dessert and it was around $150 usd +after tip) so it's definitely on the pricey side for the area but you can't get a meal that good with service that incredible anywhere in the US for that price so we felt so spoiled. WE EVEN TRIED TO SEE IF WE COULD DRINK OUR WATER EMPTY BEFORE THEY CAUGHT IT. nope. My husband took his last drink of water and it was full again before it hit the table. Food 4/5. Service 6/5.

It's been a while since I have been to a place and I said wow but this place is WOW. I see the signs on the freeway for this restaurant but the signs do it no justice whatsoever. This is a must do activity when coming to Cancun area. The food was absolutely incredible. The taste was great and the presentation was wonderful. When your food get served it even a show. We bought a cocktail and it came in a tray that was leaking fumes like a potion or dragon breath. The meat has it's own fire show when they finish preparing it by your table. If you have an Instagram you will guaranteed post it and make your friends jealous. They have crazy good music playing while you eat as well. The servers are so friendly and management just looks for those moments to make your visit that much better. They have daily shows too. We were sitting and the mariachi came in and bamn it's a great party now. I asked and they have a mariachi, wrestler show and also a sparkler show. The kids menu is so thoughtful too. I don't have kids but we saw the menu and they have food to keep your kids busy while you enjoy. Incredible. Highly recommend you go.

Great restaurant, beautifully presented and delicious food. Great drinks. Good service. Fiesta big time. Gracias.The only negative was that they put extra drink, but we caught it.
