La Paz Explorer

We really enjoyed our trip with La Paz Explorer. The booking agent was very honest about possibility of weather hindering our plans, but we lucked out and were able to snorkel with sea lions and swim with whale sharks. The entire crew, from lead guide to captain were friendly and really seemed to enjoy making our trip a fun and successful day. Good gear, excellent boat, great people. Swimming with the whale sharks is a truly unique experience!

Our family booked two trips with Roberto and La Paz Explorers - one snorkeling trip to Espiratu Isla with lunch and a tour around the area and a second to swim with whale sharks. He was incredibly easy to work with, very responsive and reliable and did his best to accommodate our family. The tour guides, Mars and Alex were very knowledgeable about the marine life and natural habitats for so many of the native species and knew much about the history of the natural park. They made the trip fun for us all, and helped guide my sister who was not as comfortable swimming with the sea lions but ended up loving it! We felt safe and well cared for. Corey was a fabulous captain and guided us along our adventure stopping for dolphins and sea turtles. I would absolutely recommend booking with this tour group!

We had a great tour scubadiving in the sea lion colony with La Paz explorer. Also good lunch on the beach. Would go with them again!

Nothing but great things to say about this company and experience! Anabel made the booking so incredibly easy! Our dive guides Roberto and Arturo were wonderful and even sent us videos from their GoPro since we didn’t have one! It was such a beautiful trip! I highly recommend!

Thank you to the whole team at La Paz Explorers for ensuring we had a great time. We did four dives over two days and saw two wrecks, sea lions, the reef and many, many turtles! The dive instructors, Roberto and Anna, were attentive and thorough, and able to answer any questions we had. Luckily for us, everyone on board including our captain was able to speak English. Unfortunately the dive sites are quite weather dependent, and on both days the port had restrictions for boat travel based on the high winds. We were unable to see the large sea lion colony on the far side of Espiritu Santo. Even so, the team ensured we saw a variety of dive sites and were very accommodating. When organising the trip, Anabel was extremely prompt and helpful, and able to answer questions even outside of office hours.Lastly, we had the most extraordinary lunches - ceviche on beautiful secluded beaches in La Paz!We would definitely dive with La Paz Explorers again and recommend them to anyone.

This company is amazing. They were so easy to use, Their staff was amazing and so fun and the tours were spectacular. I have no complaints and would definitely go back out with them. I am a beginner diver and they helped me have so much fun out there. Also, the staff was great during and even after, they gave us advice about the city. great job!!
