I travelled alone to Mexico but didn't necessarily want to be alone so I signed up for Spanish lessons in IH to meet people as well as to improve my Spanish. Best decision of my life. This is a very good school with very good teachers and staff overall. Everyone is very kind and helpful. You'll also learn a lot about the Mexican (yucatan) culture, food, excursions and more. Food is great, people are nice, good night- and daylife, there's something for everyone in Playa del carmen, white beaches, turquoise waters. I'm not sure why anyone would study Spanish abroad somewhere else. Highly recommend.

What a fantastic place to study Spanish . I was here for just two weeks and had the best time ever ! The school has such a positive atmosphere and is professional in every aspect . The classes are excellently delivered with care taken to place students in the right level - thanks to Edgar I felt I learnt more in two weeks of his class than in my whole life ! The staff in the school and residence always had a smile on their faces . Special thanks to Myrna and Francisco for all their hard work !

I went for two weeks to get Into my spanish again, and it was a very good time. I didn't think I would speak that good spanish again. The teachers are amazing and help you with everything. I had a good a experience and a really good time. Would go again and definitely recommend! :)

Fantastic experience. The school is lovely, and the staff are very friendly. We loved our teachers there, too.My children had Luis as their teacher, and he made learning Spanish fun and relevant. He mixed up lessons with games, like Uno and Monopoly, to keep their attention. And it worked. In fact, they would like to return.I had private lessons with Lucy and enjoyed every minute of it. Although I work in Spanish, I need a lot of help with grammar. She helped me understand concepts, not just memorize rules. I feel far more confident now.It's a wonderful school, and would recommend it to both the beginning and advanced student.

I was only able to study 1 week but I enjoyed the experience. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and Marian especially was patient with my terrible Spanish. It was exactly what I expected and had some extra nice unexpected touches too.

I spent a week here studying Spanish. It was a really fun week and I learned so much. The teachers, staff, and other students were all super supportive and willing to help this poor gringo learn in- and out-of-class. I wouldn't hesitate to come back, hopefully for longer next time!
