Cancun To Chichen Itza

Yo compre un tour deluxe para dos personas y sinceramente no vale la pena por estas razones :1.mi tour fun cancelado sin previo aviso, si no es porque yo llamo y pregunto sobre la situación, ellos no me hubieran informado. Afortunadamente me pusieron el tour para el día siguiente y para suerte mía que aún me quedaba un día en Cancún.2. El desayuno nos fue entregado alrededor de las 10 am cuando en la página web especifican que se entregará tan pronto se suba al bus, adicionalmente era una caja con un jugo pequeño , un sándwich de jamón y queso y unas galletas, la verdad no estaba feo.3. Durante todo el trayecto desde Cancún hasta el cenote no nos dieron ninguna bebida.4.cuando llegamos al cenote XCAJUM , nuestro guía marco nos dijo que íbamos a bajarnos y que aquí íbamos a decidir qué hacer primero , si queríamos almorzar o ir a nadar al cenote . Pero antes de hacer las actividades nuestro guía nos hizo una charla sobre la obsiadana “ piedra maya utilizada con fines médicos y esotéricos “ y luego tuvimos que entrar a una tienda de souvenirs para que pudiéramos apoyar económicamente a la comunidad maya . PERO el problema o lo que no nos gusto es que básicamente te metes en la tienda un montón de tiempo y cuando te das cuenta se pasó el tiempo y tienes que comer y nadar en menos de dos horas porque el bus sale puntual a chichen Itzá . Me parece que el guía debe solamente sugerir comprar algo en la tienda y ser más específico y decir bien alto QUE EL TIEMPO ESTÁ CONTADO Y QUE DISFRUTEN DEL TIEMPO EN EL CENOTE Y DISFRUTEN EL ALMUERZO. No es necesaria la información de la obsidiana, no es necesario decirle que debe apoyar económicamente a la comunidad maya comprando souvenirs ( yo entiendo que todo es un negocio, pero sinceramente no veo necesario tanta explicación de cómo la comunidad maya sobrevive , es más que lógico ) y si quieren vender en cantidad deberían bajar los precios . Es mi opinión.5. Cuando íbamos en el bus el anfitrión Fabián ( muy buena su atención) nos ofreció hacer un upgrade de nuestro plan delux para plan diamante, lo cual consistía en agregar la renta de lentes para nadar en el cenote , porque según el guía marco el agua del cenote tiene muchos minerales y te va a irritar los ojos . Adicionalmente tiene uno derecho a barra libre de cócteles, una toalla y el chaleco. Y nos encontramos que el agua del cenote es pura y no tiene ningún mineral malo para los ojos . Lo que quiero exponer es que son muy innecesarias muchas cosas , pero te lo venden todo como si lo fueran. No es necesario mentir de esa manera por conseguir dinero porque están dejando una mala reputación y eso es peor ya que hay muchas más empresas que ofrecen el mismo servicio.6. El tiempo en chichen Itzá es tan reducido Que solo puedes conocer el castillo de Kukulcan y sus alrededores nada mas, el resto del parque es imposible. Con un tiempo tan acotado como el que tour da solo dos horas.Para finalizar puedo decir que no es necesario ni el plan Plus ni delux ni mucho menos diamante . Solo el plan básico y lleven toda la comida y bebida que quieran.

5 stars for the temples of course! If you visit in the summer months bring an umbrella, big hat, or something that provides shade because the sun is relentless and there’s only a few options for shade. Also remember cold water!I’m docking a star for the transportation. We stopped for lunch and I felt like the employees set us up to be taken advantage of at the gift shop they had a shaman come and put on a performance to try to get people to buy things. They put on a show and took my friends to another room where he claimed he was going to pray over them but all he did was try to sell them more things. Further, when we were walking to the buffet we were forced to take pics with men in costumes and forced to pay without being told before hand that a picture costs money. I didn’t appreciate this stop at all. Additionally, they give you a lot of background on the history of the temples while you’re on the bus. Which is intriguing at first but it lasts for bout 2 hours of the trip. This can be quite annoying if you’re trying to nap because they are loud on a microphone. Overall, the employees were nice. The only stop I didn’t like was where we stopped for lunch. The little villages were really nice.

Beware. This company is only an agent. When you book with them they will randomly assign a tour operator to you. I booked a chichen itza express tour and was supposed to be back by 4 pm. However in the morning they took a very long route and transferred me to a smaller bus in which I got only half a seat. While coming back also the operator Mayan travel took a longer route and dropped me on the end . I spent 6 hrs each way and saw only 1 destination for 2 hours. On top when I asked questions the guide in the bus threatened to leave me behind on a remote highway. The tour agent company ignored my texts and calls. I wasted my entire day on a so-called express tour. Do not use them.

1 star is generous. If I could give 0 I would. This company lied to us, and the same thing as happened to many others (as per previous reviews) happened to us, where the express tour doesn’t exist and they just shoved us on a normal full day tour and sold it to us as a potential delay. Any attempts to contact them afterwards has been ignored when they realise we are asking for an explanation for their actions.Just please avoid this company.

Hermosa experiencia!!

Very disorganized unfortunately. My partner and I booked online and were told that we would be picked up at our hotel lobby at 7:25. We were there at 7am, and at 7:35 received a message that they left without us. They never came to the lobby; they were at the front gate of the resort over 1km away from the lobby. Why wouldn't they tell us they'd be at the gate, and also why not give tell us when they got there and give us some time to fetch a cab to the gate vs. once they already left? We ended up having to catch a taxi to meet them in Playa Del Carmen which cost over $40 USD.The trip itself was also unorganized. Once we got to Playa, they didn't know who was supposed to be on the bus and who wasn't, they went through the list 4-5 times before they let us on the bus. Once on the bus, we didn't get to our first destination (cenote+ buffet lunch) until around 11am. On the way there, they informed us that the mandatory lifejackets + lockers + drinks at the first stop would be expensive, so we should get their diamond package for $20USD each which included all that and unlimited drinks. Sounding like a good deal, we went for it. Unfortunately we had to flag down the attendants for each drink and they seemed highly annoyed anytime we asked for anything. We got a total of 3 drinks the entire time because they didn't want to come around and serve us.A LOT of time is spent at the first destination. They told us 10 minutes only" multiple times

Inolvidable

We had a fantastic tour with Amigo Tours and our guide Rodrigo was just terrific. We loved him. Chock full of great info, facts, pictures to pass around and history that's not always in books. It's a dang shame that people felt the need to vandalize this beautiful place and now boone can climb the pyramid or go inside anymore. The grounds are meticulously kept, and the guides are all very on top of anyone attempting to chew gum, smoke, eat, or drink anything other than water. There's so much more to this place than I ever knew and I'm so glad we went. I knocked one star off my review however, for all the vendors inside the grounds. Every five feet there's booths set up with people hawking cheap trinkets, blowing whistles, using some toy that sounds like a growling wild animal, and calling to you to come look at their stuff. It's a definite detractor from what feels like a sacred place. They cheapen the experience and they often make listening to your guide difficult because they're so obnoxious. They should be made to set up outside where you exit, not inside the temple areas. But overall it's an amazing, A+ place that I highly recommend you see. BRING SUNSCREEN!!! There isn't any shade and the sun is intense.
