A sundowner here is great with a view over the square with the Cathedral next. We only had some small dishes which was quite bland but not bad. Very good and attentive service.

Great place in the center. Fantastic view and nice breeze in the evening. Stuff is friendly and cocktails are great value for money. You won’t get mixology here but good honest cocktails. Food is also alright. It definitely is better than it first looks.

The place is beautifully decorated but the best thing is the terrace with an incredible view to the cathedral.Drinks are on point. Very fair pricing and the staff is lovely

We went for evening cocktails. Great view over the plaza and cathedral, unique atmosphere and very helpful and friendly staff. Cocktails are not necessarily outstanding but good for the price.

Dirt cheap and tasty cocktails on a balcony overlooking the central town square. Easily one of the best (and most affordable) places we drank at in the peninsula. Skip the food and grab a few drinks while you enjoy the view of the cathedral and park at night!

El bar Casa Vieja del Río en Campeche tiene una decoración muy bonita con una temática antigua muy mexicana. Es un restaurante que se encuentra en el segundo piso de una casona que fue hotel antiguamente y que un día albergó a Maximiliano y Carlota. Tiene una terraza muy grande con vista al kiosco y la iglesia. Tienen una carta de platillos típicos y bebidas de todo tipo. Sus precios son accesibles. Muy recomendable.

I really enjoyed my time at this restaurant! The food, customer service, prices, atmosphere, and view of the cathedral were all amazing! Of course, the view of the cathedral is what enticed me to eat here, and I was pleasantly surprised to find everything perfect! At the end of my meal the owner even came over to tell me more about the history of the restaurant and the square below. My Spanish isn’t perfect, but he told me there is a famous gathering each December and a concert with famous singers (even Andrea Bocelli). Overall I had a really pleasant time here and am looking forward to coming back!! Highly recommended

We went here for cocktails and had such a great experience. The manager, Rogelio, gave us some interesting facts and history of the area, as well as recommending us a lovely mezcal and some tasty cocktails. Well worth a stop to watch the plaza get dark and the cathedral light up!

Very good restaurant with nice view of the plaza from the second floor terrace, very friendly waiters and manager Jezus helps you with translations. Good food and not expensive. A must-go-to in Campeche for a nice dinner or lunch!

No muy buena experiencia. La mesera quizá era nueva, se veía muy nerviosa, el servicio en general fue muy lento. Nos trajeron la cena fría y no tenía estaba muy rica que digamos para el precio de los platillos. El puré de papa parecía de bolsita, el arroz estaba insipido, el pollo Pibil tiene buen sabor pero parecía puro axiote.
