Swung by here after being turned away from Limantour, despite them having multiple empty seats at the bar. We were escorted to the bar by friendly staff and welcomed like old friends. In an intimate setting, 686 offers a menu of timeless classics that are perfectly prepared. In a city with countless bar options, this is a must visit.

Classic cocktail menu plus some nice touch of their own creations, which makes the speakeasy a true gem. I have to give the grilled babe corn a five star alone !!!

Yeah right. Real nice place for tapas. Mind the stomach microbes. Not to mention the American sized prices with the hundreds column cleverly obscured on the menu. I’ll admit that the mezcal was good but otherwise, You have been warned.

Ambiance - 5Service - 5Drinks -5Food - N/ASmall dark high-end cocktail bar (but actually perfect lighting on each table).LOVE that they do not over crowd the bar like other cocktail bars, so you are comfortable, but I think this also contributed to the good service because the bartender was not overwhelmed.Soiler: to find look for the address (the name of the bar), it is the only odd ball number on the street.

Impeccable food & drinks with a lovely cool atmosphere. The dishes were nicely presented which added to the deliciousness of each bite. Definitely a must visit if you’re in the area!

Solid craft cocktails, featuring many unusual ingredients I had to look up. Was the perfect low key place for a nightcap, with moody spotlights and chill music. I checked Tock, and since it showed a lot of availability later in the evening, I tried dropping in, and they had space—so don’t be intimidated by the reservation system.

This little gem is hidden. We needed to speak with the host from the restaurant below to get access to the bar. He led us through the kitchen, and led us up a spiral staircase, past a walk-in refrigerator and into a darkly-lit room with maybe 20 seats across 8 tables and a bar. Delightful and intimate vibe. The prices are high — with cocktails around $250 MXN and domestic beers around $100 MXN — but the experience was memorable and worth it.
