Spanish school 5 minutes walking from the downton of Guanajuato (near of Alhondiga de granaditas), where you can find spacious classrooms, good teachers with a lot of patience, interactive content and where you can learn a lot of Mexican culture.

Amazing Spanish School, Luis, Itza and Reyna all amazing maestrosI've been to a few in Mexico and this is by far the best. They have every technique to maximise you learning quickly. And also great people, very nice and fun to be in the school, activities that are great too

I LOVED my time at Fénix Spanish School! The instructors are amazing-- all certified teachers, with degrees in language instruction-- and were experts in helping me develop my writing, speaking, grammar, and above all, confidence in my own abilities with regard to producing Spanish in everyday situations. In addition to being centrally located (just a few steps from the Alhóndiga, Hidalgo Market, Plaza San Fernando, etc.), Fénix is a very economical option for those wanting private or group Spanish classes in Guanajuato. My only regret is that I can't stay and study here forever! If you come to Guanajuato with the intention of studying a language, I suggest you do so with Fénix. You won't regret a minute of the time you spend here. Moreover, you'll most likely leave with a full heart and some new friends as well.

Escuela con profesores muy preparados y pacientes. Se adaptan a las necesidades que cada estudiante tiene. Recomiendo mucho que vengan a estudiar aquí, el ambiente es muy amigable y respetuoso.

The classes at Fenix Spanish improved my conversational Spanish greatly in the week I was there. I received one on one training from teachers who were very skilled and who could find more than one way of explaining things when I needed that. I was decent at reading and writing Spanish before I went but I noticed a big improvement in my understanding of conversation by the end of the week. I speak more quickly now too. The community of Guanajuato was very safe and very fun to explore. (And I’m female and was traveling solo.) I hope to go back and I definitely recommend this experience!

I can’t speak highly enough about Escuela Fénix. Los maestros Luis, Gerardo, y Andrés are all extremely knowledgeable and kind. And after just a few weeks not only has my confidence in speaking Spanish increased significantly, but I’m actually speaking and understanding much better than I often realize. The price is very competitive—better than other language schools I checked out, and there’s free candy and occasional field trips to places of cultural interest! So far I’ve been to the Museo de Leyendas de Guanajuato and climbed La Bufa for La Fiesta de La Cueva. I am very happy Escuela Fénix was recommended to me.

The teachers at Fénix Spanish School are amazing!! I've learned so much!! Highly recommended!! You will not find better in Guanajuato!!

My experience at Fénix School was way beyond my expectations. My classes were intense; no time was wasted from the minute I arrived until it was time to leave for the day, but that was exactly what I wanted. I enjoyed the fact that discussion centred around my interests and really motivated me to “stretch” my level of Spanish. One thing that delighted me was that the explanations of grammar were very clear and concise. Within a short time, I had a much better understanding of the use of a particular verb that had been very difficult for me. Both of my teachers came to class very well-prepared, for example, with articles about a subject in Spanish or having researched a topic thoroughly. My teachers also recognized the importance of establishing a comfortable relationship with their students in an environment that was quite informal and therefore relaxed. I am so grateful for my time at Fénix. I feel that what I’ve learned here will really boost my Spanish level and give me the confidence to become more fluent.
