Amazing, tasty and authentic indonesian food! Perfect value for money. For 140 pesos you will get the menu del día with a soup, rice and different toppings. Sometimes they offer things like Banh Mí as well. Everything is bought from the local markets or self made (even the coconut milk!) and of course vegan.What makes the place so special is the atmosphere! They have a cute little garden to eat and relax. Furthermore Silea and Afif are the most welcoming hosts and put a lot of love in the food and in the comfort of their guests. Can highly recommend visiting this restaurant in San Cristobal!

My go-to place in town. Flavorful dishes that change by the day, and a great environment to meet people from all over. Some of the most satisfying meals Ive had in Mexico.

Exquisite food cooked by lovely people! Incredible mix of new flavors to discover, I recommend trying the menu of the day.Internal garden and excellent Starlink WiFi, friendly atmosphere :)

The food here is amazing! The staff is very friendly and attentive. The Indonesian chef explained each of the dishes and where the come from. Big portions! Great value for the price. We'll be back!

When we arrived, they only offered the menu of the day and we couldn't have wished for more because it exceeded all our expectations by far. The variety they offer in one dish is amazing, everything was so flavorful and the presentation was on point. The staff is really friendly and accommodating, they made sure to top up our tea as needed. We will certainly be back a couple of times before leaving Sancris.

Casa jasmine is a premium place that offers quality experiences like eating and also socialization and also you can sleep there in a room with a bed. The atmosphere is homey and comfortable. the food is super because it is made with an appreciation of food and ingredients that can be described as being fresh. If you come here you won’t be disappointed, I promise

Being vegetarians, this was one of the best meals we had in San Cris. The restaurant itself is super cute with a little garden out in the back, and the owner and waitress were just lovely! Highly recommended if you crave healthy and tasty vegan food while in Chiapas.

Super authentic and delicious, even for a fairly international town like San Cris, this is a rare find in its hominess and simplicity. They have a changing menu of around 3 daily dishes, so there's a focus on quality rather than a wide menu, and Amita miraculously manages to recreate the shrimp paste and fish sauce flavors of Indonesia with a strictly vegan kitchen -- super impressive!

Absolutely delicious!!! The food has an amazing flavor, the one dish is a combination of many different ones. We had pho, Tempe, salad and cooked eggplant, spicy coliflower all delicious! The price is great $140 with tea included. It seems they only have one full dish" per day."

Food was flavorful and good; just really small and they didn’t have everything in the menu so you may have to wait if it gets crowded and even then you may not get to eat what you were craving.
