Not only are they a great dive shop but your patronage will help the environment!!!I can not give enough stars and I am truly glad to have had the opportunity to dive at there shop!!! They were on top of it ... they will truly give you that experience your looking for!!!

Incredible diving experience!! Alex, Josh, and the whole crew were professional, fun, and gave us the experience of a lifetime! The reef in Mahahual is beautiful. Absolutely recommend this dive shop to anyone and everyone. In addition to being a dive shop they are a research center so you are supporting something that is extremely beneficial when you hire takata. 10 out of 5 stars.

my brother and i did our open water here and we couldn't be happier. tom was the best instructor imaginable, great communicator, reliable and professional. the people working here are very motivated, friendly and flexible. the cabaña and the suite we stayed in were clean and comfortable! great stay :)

We had a lot of fun going diving with Takata. Both the divesites, as well as the warmhearted team were amazing. You are immediately welcomed and integrated into the family of the dive center. Linda is a super nice and dedicated organizer. Alex, who was our guide and instructor, was super nice, funny and extremely competent.We could take a lot from all dives and learn. We are very happy that we have chosen Takata. Only the transparency of the prices in the area of rental equipment still left room for improvement. Nevertheless, an absolutely successful overall package. We'll be happy to dive with them again!We also stayed with them in one of their apartments, which was super nice, clean and affordable - waking up with the ocean view was so beautiful!Nina and Nico

I could actually cry just thinking about how magical my experience at Takata was. Such stellar humans. I traveled solo for my PADI open water cert and felt super safe + supported. Andrey, Barry and Jorge were extremely thorough and diligent, yet playful and light. The reef is conveniently located right out front of the dive center! I stayed on site in one of the cabanas; it was so sweet falling asleep to the sound of the waves. Not to mention, Mahahual itself is a secret GEM. Already planning my next trip back!s/o to Fabiola and everyone at Takata for being so accommodating!

Amazing experience! I did 4 dives at Takata, the center has amazing atmosphere, I felt I am going for a dive with a group of friends. Even though I am not very experienced diver, and I am strugling with many things, a feelt very safe with Takata guides. I could see that all equipment is taken care off, and lagalizeed. All my needs was accommodated perfectly. Takata is not only a dive shop, but they are restoring the reef, I was able to learn more about this process and that is a huge additiona value for me. Special gratings from Poland to my guides Manu and Alex and for the capitan of the boat :)

I couldn't ask for better instructors, Gaston, Andrey and Barry are just the best. Very patient and encouraging. Did my open water with them and was just AWESOME! They are the best. I strongly recommend Takata Experience. Cheers, Dariel

We had an amazing time at Takata! My partner and I did our open water divers course here and could not have chosen a better place. Our instructor Tom was very thoughtful and patient while also staying super friendly and professional, some of the other dive masters joined us on our dives to make sure everyone felt comfortable, special thanks to Jonah for joining along on all our dives! It was also great to learn about Takata’s preservation activities and to be able to see the coral nurseries, what an amazing effort! Last but not least, we stayed at the property, our room had the most beautiful sunrise view and all amenities you could need. 10/10 recommend for anyone.
