Highly recommend this group if you want to surf in Sayulita! Carlos was great about communicating through email and text with everything we would need to make our stay as easy and as much fun as possible when we got there. He went out of his way to make sure everything was going well when he wasn't with other clients. During our stay we worked with Cesar, a Sayulita native who seemed to know everyone in town and all of the greatest surf spots, is a patient and knowledgeable teacher, is as quick with a joke as he is with a smile, and can recommend all of the best places in town for whatever you need!These guys were great and I'll definitely be back with them to soak up more sun, fun, and surf knowledge!!

The owner, Carlos is amazing and will send you training videos to get your body prepped and ready to catch your first wave or advance and progress with the skills and knowledge of surfing that you already have. Whatever your level or knowledge of surfing is, I can guarantee you that you will learn more than you can absorb. They are professional, accommodating, and make the entire experience fun! My friend and I had the pleasure of working with both Carlos and one of his coaches Cesar for our recent stay in Sayulita and I’m already ready to go back! Sayulita Surf Camps is the best in Nayarit! Carlos is so easy to work with— from communication, online booking, to the lessons, and to catching waves!! He takes care of everything, you just need to show up! I have stayed in Sayulita four times now and Carlos is by far the most professional! He even brings a GoPro to record your moment on the wave! I did a 5 day solo course with Carlos, and it was awesome. I'm 47, never surfed before, and didn't grow up around water. But Carlos had me riding on day 1 and using different boards by day 3. We hit several different surf spots to learn different waves. He is a great teacher, knows his students, and has a great sense of humor. For those who don't speak Spanish, he's bilingual, and great with families and kids. I'm definitely coming back soon and connecting with Carlos to catch some more waves. Thanks hermano!
