Hotel Itza Coba
I stayed here for a week and really enjoyed the experience. Great value and perfect location for visiting the Cobá ruins. My room was basic but adequate. Very clean, spacious with a good-sized private bath and AC. Delicious a la carte breakfast!The staff are super accommodating and attentive. They modified my reservation upon request and did it one more time when my schedule changed again. They also gave me two bottles of water every day, offered a pillow seeing me lying in the poolside hammock, and provided a brand new electric kettle after I asked for hot water for tea.Unfortunately Chichen Itza is closed due to the Maya Train project. More tourists are coming to Cobá. It was worth staying in town and going early to avoid the crowds brought by tour buses. I personally loved the quiet time in a small town and visited Tulum by taking the colectivo (return by ADO bus).

Really nice spot. Very comfortable with nice rooms within walking distance of everything in Cobá. Local dogs were adorable but loud at night along with other normal jungle noises, so maybe bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. We unfortunately missed breakfast here (our fault) but the dining area looked really nice too.

Maravilloso hotel tranquilo en la bonita aldea de Cobá. La habitación era amplia, limpia, bonita y con vistas al lago. Tienen una piscina muy linda. La estancia fue tranquila y acogedora. El desayuno delicioso. Pero lo mejor de todo fue el staff que nos atendieron muy amables. El último día debíamos irnos temprano a las 7 cuando el desayuno es a las 8 y amablemente nos prepararon unos sándwiches para llevar. Nos encantó el hotel pero más nos encantó su equipo. Muchas gracias ❤️

Excelente lugar, familiar.Cuenta con piscina, renta de bicis, una pequeña terraza.Hotel recomendable si visitas coba, el personas es muy amable y el lugar muy acogedor.

En precio, atención y comodidad es la mejor opción, José fue muy amable con nosotros y atento a lo que necesitaríamos. La alberca muy linda, no tiene estacionamiento como tal pero hay bastante espacio enfrente del hotel para estacionarse, el lugar es seguro, y de frente tiene el lago que le da cierto aire fresco.Nosotros decidimos visitar la zona arqueológica de Cobá y para aprovechar desde temprano llegamos un día antes, disfrutamos de la tarde en la alberca, caminando está muy cerca las zona arqueológica por lo que puedes ir caminando.

It's a very nice hotel next to the lagoon. The staff was very friendly the entire time we spent there and gave us a lot of useful information about Cobá and the bus connections.The breakfast was nothing special but tasty. They have a laundry service which was very nice.

Hotel Itza Coba
Everything was great, staff was very helpful, breakfast was great. Location was excellent, very close to the ruins. The cold shower was great. I waited for a long time for the hot water but nothing come out (instructions stated wait for 5 minutes because it runs by solar but nothing). The water in the sink faucet was very slow. Wi-fi was great!!

Hotel Itza Coba
This was the best hotel I stayed in in Mexico while traveling throughout the peninsula for two months. I stayed for 10 days, and everything was 100% perfect the entire time. That's not easy to do! The staff and owner are super kind, the architecture and design of the building are unique and beautiful, the food at breakfast is delicious and made to order, the rooms are very comfortable, and it is spotlessly clean. In this hotel you are surrounded by nature and yet only steps from the ruins and several excellent restaurants -- all easily walkable. In addition, the wifi and cable were great, and the water was excellent!!! Best water pressure I've experienced in Mexico. Finally, the people in the village of Cobá are so warm and friendly that you will definitely want to spend time here. You can view the gorgeous sunsets over the lagoon and see the top of one of the buildings in the archeological zone, all from the front steps of the hotel. Perfect place, excellent people.
