Nativa Surf Shop

Got the recommendation from a local host and the instructor and staff where very friendly. Juan was easy going and his explanation was clear and helpful. Took care of us on the break and the beach that we took the lessons at.

We booked a tour with Nativa Surf Shop and loved it! Juan picked us up from our hotel and drove us to the boat launch! Where we enjoyed a day of touring the Marietas Island. A highly suggested experience! Where we saw whales, enjoyed snorkelling and the beaches of the island. Juan was waiting for us at the end of the tour to drive us back to our hotel. He was a very nice and friendly guy! If you visit San Pancho, book a tour with Nativa!

Really friendly employee - fluent English speaker with awesome tattoos and a sweet dog named Maya. Very cool stuff inside, and reasonably priced! Also, the shirts are of a soft material. Great stickers too! Lovely find amongst a lot of very touristy stores.

Best surfshop in San Pancho! Nativa has awesome surf wear with their own surf inspired designs on shirts, hats, tops, shorts … and you’ll see many people in town wearing them. Nativa also offers surf lessons and surf tours to La Lancha, a beautiful beach with fantastic waves for beginner and intermediary surfers with multiple surf breaks. The instructors are professional and fun and know where to go in the water for the most and best waves. We surfed so many good waves and had a great time. I went with them many times and I highly recommend checking it out :)

One of the best surf shops and schools in town. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The surf instructors are patient and have many years experience teaching. I highly recommend Nativa if you're looking for a good surf lesson.

I had a fantastic experience with Nativa and everyone there. I took surf lessons for a few days while I was staying in San Pancho. The instructor Antonio was super patient and really helpful. Sam and Juan were very friendly and accommodating during the whole process too, which was nice since I'm not in my 20s anymore and had real questions. The price was fantastic!Sure, there are other places that offer lessons, and they'll bring coolers, haul your boards for you, paddle you out to the line up, and set up digital cameras with big zoom lenses so you can have some Instagram/Facebook worthy profile shot. However, you're going to pay for all of that fluff, and from what I could see, that fluff costs about three times as much. Nativa isn't about that nonsense and just about the surfing and the experience. So if you want to learn how to surf while in San Pancho check them out! I know I'll be back next time I'm down there.

I highly recommend this Surf Shop! The people who work there are very kind and helpful. They also offer a Surftrip to another beach, if you are able to join you definitely should because it’s a very nice experience!

Sam was great and treated me like an old friend. I rented a perfect board from Nativa and he also gave me some tips on surfing here. This is exactly what a local surf shop should be.
