Spearfishing with Josh was a great experience and definitely the highlight of my trip to Mexico. The whole experience was a two-day course where the first day was spent learning the basics of spearfishing and freediving with a major focus on breath holding. At the end of the day, everyone in my three-person group could complete a 2 min+ breath hold. The next day was spent on the water. It started with some free-diving practise and training then went on to finally do some spearfishing where we got to put the skills we learned to use. I’ve been on snorkelling and fishing trips in Mexico before, but nothing compares to actually diving down and shooting a fish. After fishing, Josh filleted our catches for us to take home. That night, we all enjoyed excellent fish tacos.

David y Jairo son unos excelentes instructores y personas, nunca antes había surfeado pero me gustó tanto que ya he tomado dos sesiones y no puedo esperar por la tercera!! el servicio es impecable, de verdad muchas gracias por hacer posible esta experiencia, son los mejores!!!!!!

Javier is a dishonest fraudster. He swiped my credit card multiple times for one kitesurfing course fee. He claimed that his chip reader didn’t work. On the top of that he was late to kitesurfing lessons and didn’t offer any updates why he was late. He will offer you one fee before you begin the course and another one when it comes to paying. His equipment is old and his communication skills in English are very limited. Safe yourself trouble and stay away from this fraudster.

This is a great place! Pictures on the internet do not do this property justice wow factor. Location was fab. Quiet but close to shops, restaurants and beach. Very comfortable would definitely recommend. The space was clean and amazing!

My husband booked a spear fishing trip with Josh at CXC and had an amazing trip! Josh is very passionate about any type of ocean adventures and generously invited me to come along even though I’m not a diver. He just wanted to share the experience of being on the water and seeing the coastline from a different perspective. Josh was very organized with all the gear, showed up on time, brought lunch and water etc and then at the end of the day he whipped up two delicious plates of ceviche with our catch.If you are thinking about booking an adventure on the water I would highly recommend CXC Ocean Expeditions. The price is very fair and you’ll create memories to last a lifetime.
