Casa de las Hadas

Casa de las Hadas is a delightful place to stay. Scott is available to offer suggestions and assist in any way he can. Beautiful courtyard, hot water in the shower, comfortable beds, and a rooftop with a table and chairs where you can look out over the town of Xico. My Spanish is poor, so I really appreciated having an English speaker to converse with. The town is walkable, and Casa de las Hadas is close to everything.

Es un maravilloso lugar para descansar y relajarse; es muy tranquilo, las habitaciones muy cómodas, nos encantó el jardín y el mirador donde además se puede tomar el tiempo para pasar un rato agradable y disfrutar las vistas del Cofre de Perote y el Pico de Orizaba. Scott es un excelente anfitrión, en todo momento te hace sentir cómodo y en confianza, y siempre está al pendiente de como va tu estadía; como recomendación aprovechen la guía que amablemente el ha preparado y deja en cada habitación, tiene muy buenos tips para aprovechar al máximo tu visita a Xico.It is a wonderful place to kick back and relax; it is very quiet, the rooms are very comfortable, we loved the garden and the viewpoint where you can also take the time to have a good time and enjoy the views of Cofre de Perote and Pico de Orizaba. Scott is an excellent host, at all times he makes you feel comfortable and confident, and he is always aware of how your stay is going; as a recommendation, take advantage of the guide that he has kindly prepared and leaves in each room, it has very good tips to make the most of your visit to Xico.

This is a gorgeous place. The dorms are the best Ive ever stayed in. Them beds - wow! No creak in sight!The hosts were very friendly, doing a BBQ and Margarita night with music. They made a lovely dish and so did the other people staying there.They dropped us off at the gorgeous waterfalls and provided tips.It's a gorgeous place with a stunning garden and gorgeous outdoor kitchen we used.There are gorgeous dogs too.The rooftop provides stunning views.If I could have stayed longer, I would have done.I even forgot my headphones and Scott posted them to me. Muy amabale!Locals are so friendly and love places to buy fresh produce!

La casa es muy bella, con patio central. Las habitaciones cuidan detalles de limpieza en los muebles, aditamentos y ropa de cama, las cortinas black out y el colchón permiten dormir profundamente. Comino y acera son un plus. Recomendado ampliamente.

Es un lugar súper bonito, las habitaciones son cómodas, tienen en la ventana mosquiteros, agua caliente para tomar una ducha, terraza con vista a el pico de Orizaba y al Cofre de Perote. El jardín es muy bello y tiene sillas para tomar un descanso.Las personas que atienden son muy amables.De preferencia hablar inglés pero si no lo hablas no es problema ya que ellos ocupan el traductor para comunicarse.Espero regresar pronto ☺️

Muy atento, amable y flexible el anfitrión, el cuarto muy bonito, limpio y ordenado y con una guía de los lugares, restaurantes, taxis y muy buenos consejos para aprovechar al máximo tu visita a Xico.Tiene un gran jardín muy bonito, así como la terraza con una magnifica vista hacia el cofre de Perote y sus alrededores.La cocina al aire libre muy bien equipadaLos precios de las habitaciones muy accesibles.Recomendamos ampliamente

One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible rooftop terrace that provided stunning views and a perfect place to relax, have dinner and a couple of drinks.The hosts were absolutely amazing and made us us feel welcome and at home. The rooms were clean and cozy!The garden was fantastic and very inviting . The outdoor kitchen was well equipped and offered everything you need.Scott and Lalo’s place is situated in a great spot that made it easy for us to get around and explore the local area. We found it to be one of the best places we have ever stayed and will definitely be returning in the future.The hosts provided a bbq for their guests with different meats and extremely delicious grilled zucchini. This was an unexpected treat that we absolutely loved and added even more value to our already amazing stay.
